I am a work-at-home mum with two pre-schoolers and a painful spinal condition. In a bid for sanity I have been drawn back to my dressmaking roots, where I began handsewing dresses for my dollies at the age of 7.

I am ever-so-slightly obsessed with vintage or retro-styled objects and have always loved thrift-store raids, so I wanted to create a range of children's clothing that celebrated the charming designs of the past and the beautiful fabrics that can still be found.

I love being able to provide children's clothing that has at heart a "re-use, re-make, re-purpose" ethic.

Favorite materials

vintage fabrics, particularly curtains and pillowcases for FABULOUS retro prints, crochet doilies and I am rather partial to the odd vintage button or two
