I love what seeds represent: source, origin, birth, beginning, renewal, life... A seed in a necklace is a seed preserved into its symbol, a reminder of what is really precious in our planet earth -- the earth itself.
I was born and grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, so using seeds found in the Amazon forest has a special meaning for me. It is nice to know that picking seeds is a source of income for many natives. I am glad I can "show off" a little bit of Brazil in my designs.
