I have been making art as long as I can remember. (Arts & Crafts camp? Art classes at the museum? Sign me up!)
My art passion led me to art school where I followed the path of commercial graphic arts. This in turn, led me to illustrating greeting cards for a huge corporation for many years and eventually running a graphic design/illustration business from my home studio while I raised my twins.
If you are an art person you know that working with your hands is an addiction you cannot shed. So, I am back to my passion of making jewelry. I have also always been a beach girl, collecting sea glass, shells (never live ones!) and beach stones all my life. When I discovered I could actually combine my two passions: making creative and fun stuff (I have also sewn clothing, wood burned, painted furniture, dyed silk scarves...the list is endless) with hanging out on beautiful beaches collecting natural treasures, I knew I’d found my path!
So, here is SToNZ. Thanks for stopping by!
Note: All SToNZ beach glass and stones are collected in keeping within federal and state laws. Please do your part to respect our environment.

STōNZ
Though SToNZ jewelry is made from real unpolished beach stones, it is surprisingly not heavy. Beach stones are porous and so lightweight that you will find your STōNZ jewelry to be very comfortable to wear. I only use sterling silver and high quality clasps which I oxidize and buff to a satin finish. No bling here!
No two STōNZ items are ever the same. Each stone was created and sea tumbled by Mother Nature then drilled and transformed into a unique piece of beautiful wearable artwork. All pearls are real natural freshwater pearls, often with funky blemishes and natural imperfections. This adds to their natural beauty and seems to marry perfectly with the earthy quality of the beach stones and silver findings.
I occasionally add other materials to my jewelry as I come across interesting doodads. (Wow, my spell check actually knew how to spell that word!)
I like to oxidize my sterling silver chains and buff them for a matte satin finish to compliment the links and stones on the pendants. A word of warning: Dipping these chains in liquid jewelry cleaner or using cream silver polish may remove this dark oxidization. Lots of wear will cause your jewelry get a little shinier. You can buff it gently with a nylon dish scrubbing pad or fine steel wool if you want to return it to the matte finish.
If you prefer a shinier look, you can buff your jewelry with a polishing cloth. STōNZ beach stones may darken a bit with wear due to the oils in your skin. They actually get more beautiful as you wear them! For the occasional cleaning of your SToNZ jewelry it is best to use a soft toothbrush with a mild dish soap and then rinse with water.
► Shop Policies:
All STōNZ jewelry comes with a free velvet storage pouch. I can also include a free gift box if you ask for one.
Most bracelets and link style necklaces can be adjusted a bit for length if requested. Pendant style necklaces on sterling box or snake chains are not adjustable. In many cases you can remove SToNZ pendants and use them on your own cord or chain. If you need to know about this, please ask before purchase.
► Questions, comments, or concerns should be voiced before purchase, please.
► Please feel free to convo or email me! I'd love to hear from you.
My email is: stonzware [!at] roadrunner.com
► Feedback:
I offer money back if there is ANY problem with your order. I just ask that you give me the opportunity to solve any issues, before leaving feedback. I will always make it right.

International Orders: There is no delivery confirmation for international packages. I will do my best to ensure the delivery of your item, but if your customs seizes the item, it's out of my hands. I apologize but I can't be responsible for lost or undelivered international packages. (I have not had an issue with this so far!)
