I'm Suzanna Scott, a thirty-something artist living and working from my home studio in Manhattan, Kansas, USA. In addition to being an artist I'm a home-schooling mama to my 8-year-old daughter Lizzie and wife to Patrick, a PhD candidate in economics (seriously….opposites attract!). Joking aside, he's my best friend and pitches in to help with the Etsy shops when things get busy.

My work has often been classified as 'quirky' as I do tend pair unlikely images 'n objects. I thrive on subtle satire (nuf said!). Inspiration emerges from out-of-the-blue but here's a list of current crushes: clowns, crazy quilts, old embroidery samplers, patchwork, doilies, board games, 1950's newsprint 'n magazines, carnivals, paper dolls, graph paper, little things, junk (especially if it's broken 'n dusty), ephemera, anatomical imagery pre-1920's, office supplies, the circus, 1930's children's readers, broken dolls, word play, tin toys and of course coffee.

Sushipot Vintage is an online venue where I offer unique vintage finds and curated collections of vintage goodies. Each vintage object has been lovingly scavenged by my family as we enjoy the thrill of "treasure hunting" together. We discover treasures at thrift shops, flea markets, estate sales, auctions, yard sales, junk yards, used bookstores and on our walks around the neighborhood. All my vintage finds are carefully packaged 'n shipped to destinations 'round the world.
