You enter a quaint gift shop at the street corner. You see the gypsy-like shopkeeper, and she smiles at you as you walk further into the room. You feel like you have just entered into a place timeless, magical, yet familiar all at the same time. The woman raises her finger to her lips as if to silence you. Then she looks around the room and points to the back of the store. You see a large old enchanted cupboard with a vast amount of drawers and doors; you walk to it as sweet, whispered words fill your ears,
"Inside you will find your heart's desire!"
About the Artist:
When Beccijo was 11 years old she picked up some oil pastels and began to draw everything she saw with her eyes and in her imagination. Her parents saw her talent and signed her up for Art Class at a local Art Studio. She received many Gold Key Awards and donated many of her art works to charity for auctions. Beccijo sold her first painting when she was 17. She went off to study Art at college and was awarded, The Most Outstanding Student of Art for 1991. Since then she has let her heart and her art lead her. Beccijo continues to draw and paint but has now found great passion for toy making and personal custom dolls painted to the likeness of her subject.
Additional Education:
Beccijo studied early childhood education at the English Nanny and Governess School where she learned that education begins at birth. She has used this concept when making her toys.

Shipping Days - Wednesday and Saturday of each week. International shipping if needing to go to the post office is done on Saturday.
~ Playsilks are Made Saturday Morning and shipped out that day unless ordered with a "made to order" item.
~ Items marked "Ready to Ship" will be shipped on the next shipping day unless ordered with another item that is made to order.
~ Made to Order items take 7 - 14 day (time may be longer during Holiday times - please check for Holiday notes) depending on size of order and orders with in the day or week. If you need your item for a Birthday or Holiday please let us know so we can work with you to meet you timing needs.
~ Custom order timing is worked out on a case by case situation depending on level of workmanship needed. We love the creative aspect of custom work and will give you ideas and desires our best work.
