I grew up in an East Indian household and have always been surrounded by rich colors, textures and a mother (along with all our friends and relatives) decked out in layers of beautiful jewelry! The Indian culture is so vibrant and festive, yet always has an atmosphere of elegance and grace surrounding it. I try and emulate that same emotion in my jewelry.

I mostly focus on creating personalized/custom pieces of jewelry because it evokes emotion, conversation...something that allows you to think about your surroundings, your very being.

Jewelry that incorporates birthstones, names, dates, interesting and personal phrases and quips are my absolute favorite. I feel like you have so many choices out there when you purchase something, but few things that you can make especially personal. I create jewelry that will be remembered, loved and cherished.

I try to purchase most of my metals from companies who use eco-friendly means of refinement. I also make sure that all my scraps are sent for refinement so there is no waste! One of my favorite mediums to work with is fine silver, which is eco-friendly by nature. Responsible luxury is my goal.

I carefully hand stamp each letter - hand stamping leaves a deeper impression than engraving so it should last for decades.

The difference between me and many other 'hand stamped jewelry' artists here on Etsy is that this is not JUST my hobby. This is my business and I take it incredibly seriously. I design constantly and look to learn new and better methods on a daily basis. My commitment to my art is deep and constantly growing. I feel that my pieces certainly reflect that sentiment.
