I was raised in this kooky Irish Catholic family in the Bay Area in California. My mother was an artist who taught us how to sew, needlepoint, knit, bake, decorate cakes, and make ornaments. She instilled the value in me that if you can't buy it or afford it, then you can make it. My background in graphic design and my three little ones have been the most influential on my decision to become an illustrator.

The story of my stamps began when I entered a rubber stamp store and felt the flurry of excitement the customers had over the little pictures on the squares of wood. I loved to draw little illustrations, but had no idea that I could make a living creating these cute designs. Hence began my love affair with stationery. The shop name comes from the true joy and happiness I feel while doing the work that I enjoy most: drawing illustrations for cards and stamps.
