toHOLD is run by a transplanted midwesterner with roots from the farm who now loves wears many hats, one of them being a black (definitely not green!) thumb.
After living east for 10 years, I found my home on the opposite coast in the super suburbia of LA. The mix of cultures, food and architecture keeps me eternally inspired. I love creating unique things and places in my design practice (kara b. studio), my architecture firm, Lettuce Office, or here on Etsy via the decor line toHOLD.
toHOLD is botanical decor designed with live tillandsia air plants out of my downtown LA studio and garden.
