My name is Julie Barnes. I travel the great USA full-time in a 42 ft. rv with my hubby, Ron of 23 years and our crazy cat, Sammy.

I have been crafting since I was a young girl. I learned to crochet from my granny, who funny enough, taught me to crochet granny squares. Which I use when creating a lot of the Afghans that I make.

She also taught me to quilt pillow tops. Later a friend taught me how to knit. I made a lot of mittens. :-)

I love crackled paint, mosaics, and mixed media art. I have been teaching myself how to do these over the last few years.

These are my favorites now, but I'm getting the bug to expand my artistic skills by learning more paper crafts - handmade cards - and jewelry. My mom makes jewelry and I think it is such a beautiful art.
