Hi, my name is Marcia Nagelmaeker, proud owner of ToutouRouge. I live in the very south of the Netherlands, nearby Maastricht.
I graduated as a teacher in fine arts, but I always loved making things myself even more.
In my store you can find things all handmade by me with love, but also prints from one off my drawings, and my new passion; hand stitched animals and finger puppets.
I truly enjoy making things that make me happy, and I hope they will make you happy too.

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to create things to make my environment, and my toys environment, a bit nicer, like cardboard houses for my stuffed animals completely furnished and decorated.
I’ve always enjoyed living in my own little world, my world behind the real world.
Nowadays I still feel like making things that make the world a bit off a nicer place.
I want to make people smile, make people happy with the things I create.
A nice drawing to look at, a funny puppet on your finger telling you little stories, a sweet little animal sitting next to you on your sofa keeping you company.

I’ve always been in love with two things, 1: France and the French language. And 2: my now 3 year old ginger English cocker-girl called Luba (which happens to be Russian for “love”). My shop title “ToutouRouge” refers to her. It’s French for “little red doggy”. (Which sadly is about all the French I know…) ;) She just inspires me and makes me smile.
