When I was 4, I began gluing toilet rolls together and painting them to sell to our neighbors for holiday napkin rings. I sold out every time and although I didn't know it then, my career in art was born. Maintaining my self taught status until the age of 19, I finally enrolled in to Art School for the very first time. At the time, I was accepted because of my "very strong understanding of color.". That explained a lot as I was at times teased for thinking that beauty came not from the inside, but from how many colors one wore on the outside" - I really did think that back in the toilet tubing days.
After a short stint in Art School, I relocated to Denmark where my passion for furniture, and lighting was born, and I learned to understand color in a whole new way once again.
