I love texture...I love colour...I love the smell of wool...In 2001 my Oma left me her 65" wide Glmakra loom as well as an abundance of fibres spanning from from pre-1933 to 1969. I grew up mostly in Alaska but I have also lived in the Netherlands, Georgia and Ontario and I see myself as a child of the world.
I wanted some training above what she and my mother had given me since I was very young so I attended the Textile Arts Diploma Program at Capilano University in North Vancouver from 2005-2007 and I have been weaving my line of Life inspired handwoven and felted wearable art wraps ever since!!
