About

Often imitated, never duplicated.

Since a very young age, I've been fascinated by the music, art and literature of past centuries. Namely that of the 1700s and 1800s.
My Germanic heritage also influences much of my design repertoire, in what I like to describe as "Marie Antoinette goes 1930s Bavarian chic".

The 1920s through 1940s, the European Weimar deco era, and German & Prussian military uniforms also serve as a major springboard, inspiring a large portion of what I create.
Perhaps then, fashions of the past are better described as an obsession that never leaves my waking hours; haunting my dreams to inspire my next creation.

Shoe clips and even shoes known as my "Refashioned Rococos".

The inside lining of each Vienna La Rouge hat is always done in my signature scarlet red moiré taffeta.
Although I may make items similar to one another, or a variation on a theme, every item I create is unique and one-of-a-kind.

As a burlesque performer, the burlesque stage has given me the ultimate outlet for my costuming abilities that range from millinery, to corsets, lingerie and even shoes.
Decked out in costumes that boast thousands of hand placed Swarovski crystals, I like to evoke bygone eras; to capture moments in time when beauties and ecdysiasts like Anna Held, Gypsy Rose Lee, and Sally Rand ruled the stage with style and class.
Originally from the casually dressed city of Seattle, I have always been somewhat of an adventurer when it comes to glamour, and fashion.
I took my name after the timeless and romantic city of Vienna, Austria and find inspiration in its beauty, history, and eclectic mix of historical & modern culture.
The city of Vienna is also a place with deep family roots for this burlesque ingénue, dating as far back as the 12th century.
Family visits were the highlight of my childhood. Its palaces, cobblestone streets, filigreed buildings, horse-drawn carriages, and beautiful music was like a magical fairytale that has imprinted itself within me forever.

Ebay has been one of the main methods of sales for me, but they have become too costly for sellers such as myself. Etsy seems like a much better venue for my wares, and I look forward to the more positive experience this wonderful community can offer.
