Martha A. Wade creates original artwork in all mediums ::: from acrylic and oil on canvas ::: digital art with drawing tablet and painter software ::: to mixed media with paper and watercolor. Martha believes in breaking down traditional art boundaries to paint a vibrant aesthetic soul on canvas.

As a young girl she watched her artist father paint beautiful strokes of color and life on walls, paper, and canvas. Martha longed for a canvas of her own and has never stopped painting since she found hers.

Martha A. Wade is an artist, blogger, producer, mother and friend. Most recently she founded the Custom Canvas Art Gallery ::: a member artist gallery of vibrant prints and commissioned paintings. Miss Wade also runs the Aesthetic Circle blog of creative inspirations for artists and art lovers around the world.

In addition to creating new works of art and blogging ::: Martha is up at the crack of dawn to produce Morning News show traffic reports for WGN-TV Channel 9 in Chicago.

Her latest endeavor began in the middle of her graduate thesis presentation when Martha was asked to join the Columbia College teaching staff. As Professor Wade ::: teaching Arts Entrepreneurship 1 to undergraduates is a pleasure as she helps students write an arts organization business plan.

Every day of Martha Wade's life is spent painting, producing, pontificating, and parenting. Her favorite thing is meeting creative and interesting people from around the world. This is a woman who cherishes family and friends most of all. Martha strives to succeed but does not let work get ahead of the ones she loves at home.

Martha A. Wade is many things ::: artist, producer, designer, and total goof ball. Friends know her simply as Marty ::: someone who is always striving to be better.
