Julie Kirby's Profile

About

Julie Kirby has been a designing and fabricating bench jeweler for over 30 years. She began her training in the jewelry arts with Eleanor Meadows at Mesa College in San Diego, California and later expanded her knowledge with an apprenticeship in Taxco, Mexico.
Julie has marketed her unique jewelry as a San Francisco street artist, at Pike Place Market in Seattle, and currently at fine craft festivals on Oahu, Hawaii.
Julie's one of a kind creations are hand fabricated using chase and repoussage techniques. She works in 14K gold, sterling silver, and gold- fill with natural stones, fresh water pearls, and sea shells. Her designs are inspired by the ocean's waves and the tropical plants and flowers that make up the beauty of Hawaii.
