The name Wind Dancer was a nickname given to me by a lovely gentleman, Bill Crow, who played in the drum circle when I was a little girl. I used to twirl and the drummers used to laugh at my "dancing". His wife, Annie, fed me fry bread with honey and was one of the kindest souls I've ever met.

I am inspired by Native American tribal culture and languages. My search for information about my own heritage and geneaology have led to the discovery of Cherokee, Mohawk and Sioux ancestry. Now, I make no claims that I am a member of any of these tribes, as these claims must be substantiated by written proof via Army censuses, public records, etc and submitted for admittance into a tribe.

My use of native languages is done with the utmost respect and desire to share with others the rich history and cultural importance of the Native peoples. My jewelry is not sold as "Native made", to do so is against Federal Law.

Custom orders are welcome, please convo me for more information.

Happy Shopping!
