i’m a girl who wears jewelry when i’m doing yard work. i love dressing up, even when i’m dressed down, so i design jewelry that looks equally sexy with a shovel and a cocktail dress.
i received my formal jewelry training in new zealand. between backpacking, hitchhiking, and busking in an old-time folk revival band, i met a jeweler who offered me an apprenticeship. while sharing his workshop i developed my ongoing love for jewelry design and fabrication.
since making my promise to my mentor that i would return home and continue to use the skills he taught me, i have developed my own style, which has manifested itself in a few distinct lines. while the lines differ from each other, each piece i design reflects my personal experience: from travel and culture to my love for nature. my favorite part of the design process is the challenge of incorporating...
