I discovered a knack for crafts that I didn't know existed when I began planning my own wedding. I found that I enjoyed projects that others didn't care for, such as the attention to detail needed to make personalized wire hangers. My husband (then fiance) encouraged me to open up a shop, so I did. :)

How did I get my shop name? A lot of my friends call me "Mon" (short for Monica) and once I moved out to Wisconsin a friend of mine called me "wisconmon." It stuck!
When making a hanger, I bend the wire by hand while keeping a close eye on the quality and consistency of each letter. I limit the use of hand tools to ensure the wire stays straight and smooth. I make each hanger as if I were making it for a friend or family member. If I...
