The sunken continent of Atlantis has fascinated and inspired people for hundreds of years, since Plato first wrote about it in the Timaeus. The ocean is such a vast and still largely unexplored body. What creatures and landscapes lurk beneath miles of crushing water? We may never know, but we can certainly imagine.
