Bio

"What an interesting name." That's what we hear a lot. The moniker seemed perfect for this platform as goose, moose and beans are the nicknames for my nephews Shailen and Deven, my daughter Ella(bean) and son Kieran(bean),respectively.
The goose moose & beans story is simple. We are a daughter-in-law, mother-in-law team that share a love of children, graphic textiles, sewing and crafting.
When my daughter was born, I found that very few retailers carried modern, sophisticated and retro inspired items for babies and toddlers. While I found lots of things at high end boutiques, I couldn't justify paying the high prices.
Lucky for me, my mother-in-law(a professional seamstress)agreed that teddy bears, ducks, and lots of baby pink were not appropriate for Ella. She often surprised me with hand made dresses and blankets made from high quality, fun prints and patterns.
That's when it dawned on me. I love design and textiles-she is an expert sewer. I approached her with the idea and she was more than thrilled to start this venture. We collaborate on every aspect of our product line from design, construction,and presentation-all with great attention to detail. We even involve other members of our family to "try" out our goods and help with packaging and wrapping-truly a family run business.
