Bio

Sorry... no big college degree...I was one of those kids who loved to get a shoebox, an empty spool of thread, and my mother's button box, and be entertained for hours.
My sister and I also loved to make our own paper dolls and design the clothes for them.In high school I fell in love with oils and pen and ink.I made the foolish move not to pursue an art degree. It wasn't until I was expecting my third child that I went back and took some painting classes. I had never done water colors so that's where I started. That is my medium of choice to this day. That third child is 16 now and I take a class to paint and draw every Thursday. The jewelry came in about 7 years ago when a very talented friend said I would just love the bead shop. I did and I do. This shop offers a wide variety of supplies, classes and visiting artist.I take a class every chance I get. Do you remember that commercial where the child goes off to college and his parents put a jacuzzi in his room? That is kinda what I did. My first child's room is now my studio/creative space. My second child got married and her room is now my husbands office. You can't come back now kids. I do not follow trends. I make what I like and have learned the hard way to stay true to myself. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it.
