Bio

I sold my very first item on Etsy during the Craft Revolution Hurricane Katrina Fundraiser in August 2005. I donated the price and shipping of a few scarves and a purse to the Red Cross.

Etsy was a lot smaller then of course and has grown and changed a lot.

My ambition for my Etsy store has pretty much stayed the same: make stuff I enjoy making and offer it for sale.

I like to knit, spin and dye yarn, needle felt, embroider, and am slowly but surely learning to sew with a machine.

I have a BA in Sculpture from the College of Santa Fe with a minor in Art History. I love to create and experiment with color and texture and I'm always excited about trying something new.

I'm married to a genuine geek, like one that codes stuff from scratch and plays with comic books.

We recently moved to a Pfabulous house in Pflugerville, in the northern burbs of Austin, Texas and are bossed around by one large rhodesian ridgeback dog, one small rhodesian ridgeback mix rescue puppy, and three very old and spoiled cats.
