Bio
I've always loved making things, as far back as I can remember, and I've never been one to use patterns. I learned how to sew & finger crochet by the time I was 4, and I've been developing new skills ever since.
I started sewing cloth menstrual pads after I bought my first pads online. I was really disappointed with the styles & quality of the pads. I started out making the envelope-and-insert type of pads, but soon switched over to sewing pads that are all one piece - I kept losing the inserts, and I didn't feel like dealing with them anymore. My pads are sold in women's health distros & are soon to be sold in actual brick-and-mortar shops.
I love working with fiber - spinning, knitting, felting, dyeing, sewing, crocheting, and fingerweaving. I have an angora rabbit named Fletcher whose fur I am currently spinning.
I'm really into trading with other craftspeople, partially because I have very little money to spare. I'd like to be able to trade for everything I need eventually, and make the rest myself. If you see something in my shop that you like, but don't have the cash for, contact me about trading.
