Pleased to meet you!

Holly Klump (me!) is the artist behind misshawklet.com.

I carefully choose all the fibers for misshawklet handspun yarn. I purchase farm/animal friendly fibers from small farms including small rescue farms, where I know the sheep are spoiled rotten! You can breathe easy knowing that the fibers in all of my yarns are from good places, but feel free to ask me any questions about how I choose suppliers! I never purchase wool that has been bleached or chemically altered (ie: superwash). All of the animal fibers I use in my yarns are as natural as possible. I also purchase directly from the farm as often as possible.

The dyes I use are set with plain white vinegar or food grade citric acid.

I have been creating all my life but misshawklet.com was created in November of 2004. I live in Nashua, NH.
