Knitting & sewing have become obsessions for me and I'm pretty excited about sharing my various projects with the rest of the world.

About me: I'm 29 years old, grew up in the Midwest, graduated with an English B.A. and I am a bookseller at Half Price Books (http://www.halfpricebooks.com).

Books are my life. Throughout the last five years, I've had the chance to work at Powell's Books in Portland, Oregon, Half Price Books in Rocky River, Ohio & North Olmsted, Ohio, and manage Sacred Path Books & Art in Cleveland, Ohio. Looks like I've found my calling...

I love to find new & inventive ways to cook tofu (semi-vegetarian since March 2006), read books that challenge me to think and change (I'm inspired and grateful for such authors as Anne Lamott, Neil Gaiman, Inga Muscio, Philip Pullman, and Garth Nix) and watch DVDs with my husband. (favorites are: Doctor Who, Amelie, Harry Potter movies, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Battlestar Galactica and Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

Buying a bike recently has redefined the idea of freedom for me.
