Welcome! And thanks for dropping by!
We are Chuck and Carolyn, lampworkers for 15 years and counting....
We're self taught as much as is possible today... when we started there were no teachers available to us. We began with an occasional frantic phone call to a friend in Michigan (Kris Peterson) who lit the fire under us, so to speak, and progressed to the original Lewis Wilson video a year later.
We've both studied with Loren Stump, and Chuck has studied with Chris Buzzini.

We began doing shows outside of Alaska in 1998, and haven't looked back since. Though we get to drive to shows these days instead of flying! This is actually funny, because about all I remember about that first show was being pregnant and not enjoying the flight too much, thinking I'd be ok if we just got on the ground soon.....and then we did a go-around in Seattle.
It feels a lot different in a 737 than a 172, especially when you aren't the pilot!!

All of our lampwork is properly kiln annealed for heirloom longevity. Glass is still glass though, and annealing does nothing to change that---so please treat it as such.

Our items come from a non-smoking home, although I have my suspicions about the cat, he acts pretty strange sometimes...
