Jill-of-Many-Skills and no idea where I should focus. That would best describe me.

Lately, I've been wondering how it all started. I guess I've always enjoyed crafting, like many of the members on Etsy. But I remember when I was 7 years old, my grandmother was knitting and she took the time to teach me. Shortly after that, I knitted my own headband and wore it proudly around my school. Of all the things anyone has given to me, the gift of her time...her sharing of her skills is by far one of the best things I've ever received. I think of her each time I pick up the needles.

I think this what led me to love handmade items. They have a personality...a spirit of its own that is non-exisitant in manufactured, assembly line merchandise. Don't get me wrong, they have their place, but the more we give up to the power of machines and technology, the more we lose of our past.

I enjoy learning on my own or taking workshops and taking the skills to turn it into my own thing. My mind is always swirling with ideas, but my body has little time to excecute them. Due the fluctuating exchange rate, I've had to increase the shipping to the US and other International destinations. I've made great efforts to keep the increase as small as possible - $.25 increase to the US and International areas.

Shipping is based on actual shipping costs plus a very nominal fee to cover packaging supplies. I take great pride in offering the lowest shipping prices possible. From time to time, I will have to change my basic shipping cost due to Canadian/US exchange rates and Postal Rate Increases.

Each additional item added to your order will cost between $.25-.50, depending on the weight of the items. Exceptions apply to the following:

1. Finished Jewellery, which will be mailed in a box.
2. International Orders outside of Canada and United States. Please see below for further explanation on International Orders.

International Orders (outside US and Canada):
Canada Post charges postage according to weight and the jump in the shipping is quite significant.

In most cases, International Shipping starts at 4.00. The price of shipping is already factored in so you won't need to worry about being asked to pay more after you've checked out.

I'm happy to combine orders. Please do not send payment until you've finished shopping. Simply send me a CONVO to let me know that you are planning to add to your order OR if you'd like to enquire about larger quantities. Messages at the bottom of Etsy Order Notifications are too easily overlooked so I prefer CONVOS. I will send you a combined invoice when you notify me that you are finished shopping.

You may pay for your items via Credit Card or Bank transfers through Paypal. I AM PAYPAL VERIFIED. (Actually, I'm not too sure what it really means, but I think it's a good thing...hehe).

Canadians may pay via cheque but orders will be mailed only when the bank has cleared your payment. Canadian can also pay via CertaPay, available if you have accounts at any of the following Banks: BMO Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC Royal Bank, Scotiabank, or TD Canada Trust. Estimated Time of Delivery:

For Canadians, packages should arrive within 7 business days after I've confirmed drop off through Etsy Convo.

For Americans it really varies. Sometimes it takes 7 days, sometimes 14 days. It seems to depend on what part of the US you live in, but that's all I can tell you. Items going cross continent seem to arrive sooner that those travelling down the coast from me. I'm sure there's a logical explanation for it, and I wish I had it to offer you. If you're at all concerned about a delay of your package, always feel free to contact me.

International Packages usually arrive in about a week to 10 days.

All Sales are Final unless I have sent an item in error or item is significantly not as described. These situations must be communicated to me directly, not via the feedback, within 5 days of delivery for returns or exchanges.

Lost Packages:

I always will Convo you through Etsy to confirm that your package has been delivered to the Postal System.

Unfortunately, once the package leaves my hand, I have no control over the timely delievery of your items. If after 3 weeks your items have not been delivered to you, it may be possible that your items have been lost by the postal system.

For your peace of mind, insurance may be purchased before items are mailed. The specifics are as listed below:

To Canada: $.80 for up to $100 coverage
To US: $ 4.20 or $6.20 depending on weight for up to $100 coverage
Other International Destinations: $4 or $11 depending on the weight of your package for up to $100 coverage
