Black Sheep Heap is the unique design venture of Brooklyn-based artist, Jen P. Harris. Jen first started making and selling t-shirts in 2005. She now creates several new designs and produces hundreds of t-shirts and totes (each one printed by hand) each year. Most designs are printed on 100% recycled or organic cotton, and all Black Sheep Heap packaging is made of recycled brown paper grocery bags. A percentage of the proceeds from the Avant-Gardener series has gone to community gardens in New York City, including 6/15 Green, at 6th Avenue and 15th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
