Bio

I've been a fiber arts nut since Spring '06, when I discovered spinning to be the perfect way to procrastinate lengthy term papers. Now, I'm spinning/carding/dyeing/covered-in-wool full time, aided occasionally by my crafty husband, Trevor, and thwarted by my trio of cats and floofy angora bunny. (Allergic to cats? Check out my shop policies, I can whip up a creation for you in a pet-free environment. Also, my studio space is kept cat-free).

My goal is to create cuddly, vivid, usable, and artsy yarns, using fibers from ethical sources. I also enjoy whipping up batts for fellow fiber addicts.

When I'm not a human feltball, immersed in fiber, you might find me gulping hot cocoa with a cat and a book in my lap, plotting out sewing projects which never seem to get finished, or tinkering with photography.

xo!

About TRADES:
Hey, I love to trade spinning fiber for spinning fiber with fellow fiber artists. I also enjoy trading for metalwork jewelry, knotted bead necklaces, Scandanavian or Japanese cotton fabric, simple handmade sewing patterns (for stuff like womens dresses, mei tais, or handbags), hand-bound books, large hand thrown mugs, and some pottery. Drop a line if you're interested in trading with me. I make a living by making stuff, so I have to be a little selective, just like you!
