What would you pack in your picnic basket? Bread and cheese? Ripe raspberries? A bottle of pinot grigio?

Whether rain or shine, winter or summer, midnight or noon, a picnic is always an appropriate way to bring a smile to your face. These pieces are all inspired in some way by food-an Icee that turns your tongue blue, cheese and freshly-baked bread still warm from the oven, a strawberry shake to get you ready for the morning, orange Jolly Ranchers that last for hours (unless you happen to bite on them, like I always do). I hope to make the feelings and joy of these memories last by capturing them in handmade jewelry of the finest materials.

I've been creating jewelry for the past 3 years, mostly for myself but often for others. This is a hobby that creates a wonderful diversion from my day job as an in-house attorney. You will often find my 4 year old son beside me as I twist sterling silver wire into these nifty creations. While he mostly enjoys pushing his cars around on the floor, he will often help select beads to go into my creation and has a pretty good eye.
