The collective is starting to move and create!
*Anna is the girl behind the computer right now, most of the items in the shop are made by her in her apartment in Washington, DC.
*Z knits are created by the lovely Z Smith, who is a clown and produce stocker in San Francisco. She and three of her classmates from the Clown Conservatory created Circus Finelli (www.circusfinelli.com). Their show tours around the country and around the world. Look for them!!! All of her goods are mailed by Anna in DC.

Originally from Baltimore, most of the canary collective craft-monsters now live all over the country. We are students,babysitters, movie theater managers, dog walkers, bizarre entertainers, produce stockers, and the list goes on...but in our souls (and on the sometimes on the outside too) we are clowns, writers, actors, artists, filmmakers and general justice seekers. I have created this site so that my crafty friends and I could have an outlet for our work. We use it to help pay for what day jobs don't do, to make more crafts or simply as validation for our work. Your piece may come from DC, San Francisco, Austin or anywhere in between, but it's got its heart in Baltimore.
