Bio

Knitting is more than sticks and string, more than a warm piece of cloth. It's warmth made with human hands, the difference between a furnace and a fireplace. A piece of knitting is a study in simplicity and a reminder of simpler times.

I'm a survivor of culture shock. I went from Little House on the Prairie to Beverly Hills, 90210, at the age of 15, and I'm a firm believer in baking my cake and eating it, too. I'm an American University graduate with a career in nonprofit publications and a closet full of yarn.

All items are made and stored in a smoke-free, fur-free home.
