My name is Tammy Powley. I am a designer, writer, and teacher. I currently have a weblog called the Crafty Princess Diaries at http://www.tammypowley.com and I also write the About.com Jewelry Making site at http://jewelrymaking.about.com

I live in Florida and am the author of numerous jewelry making books, most recently Picture Yourself Creating Metal Clay Jewelry.

Since 1998, I have been About.com’s Guide to Jewelry Making. I have a Ph.D. in Texts and Technology and work full-time as an Assistant Professor teaching writing and literature classes at my local college.
