Why Blossom Luxe?

Luxe: an expression of quality and luxury

Blossom Luxe was established in 2005 by designer and jewellery artist Emily Barnes. Emily's work is driven by a love for colour, form and pretty things.

She has a strong belief that special jewellery should not languish in a jewellery box or a glass cabinet but rather be worn and enjoyed every day.

Emily has been a "maker" since birth; drawing, cooking, sewing and crafting which led to her studying a degree in Industrial (Product) Design. She is now working in the finance industry and studying part time, amongst jewellery making and other projects.

Blossom Luxe started when Emily said I can make that myself€ one too many times after viewing expensive yet poorly made jewellery in stores. In typical style, her hobby evolved to a business when friends and strangers started to buy her creations off her neck!

Emily only sells designs that have passed her test; she wears the prototypes herself and makes adjustments to fine tune the hang of a briolette or the best clasp for a bracelet. Each piece is hand crafted using the best materials possible.

Unless stated otherwise, all findings and chain are sterling silver or 14 karat gold filled (gold filled or rolled gold is a thicker and long wearing equivalent of gold plating). Each purchase comes with care instructions and a custom made drawstring pouch for storage.
