CustomBangles's Profile

Bio

Hi, my name is Steve and for many years I have had an interest in woodwork and upon request made a number of different items and projects for family and friends. I was asked one day if I could make a wooden bangle and it was a challenge but after a bit of thought set to work one warm summers morning. I did infact make a few and sold the surplus on ebay. Things have just snowballed from there and I now find myself in the situation where I make quite a few a week but I never compromise on quality just to turn out quantity. Each bangle goes through a number of processes and over the space of about 10 days dependant upon the style and size each would take about 2 hours to complete. I still work full time and my interest in bangles is more a labour of love and I enjoy coming up with new designs, ideas and methods to improve the manufacturing process. Make no mistake, these bangles are not mass produced or simply dropped onto a machine that churns out dozens an hour. I use only the finest hardwoods, a lot of which come from a managed Pennsylvania forest. Only when I am happy that an item has achieved a high standard do I list it for sale.

WHOLESALE - so many times do I get asked to supply to shops and Boutiques that I have decided to answer that question here. I believe that everyone is entitled to a bargain no matter whether they buy 1 bangle or 20 so they are already offered at the lowest price. As a very keen hobbyist I make bangles as often or as little as I like and taking on a committment to supply on a regular basis could possibly turn something that is currently a pleasure to me into a chore and I really don't want that to happen.

Thanks for reading, Steve
