I'm a midwestern-girl turned New Yorker. I live with my Irish husband who is luckily patient enough to make many trips to the fabric store with me...

My mom taught me to sew when I was little...one of the many gifts she gave me. I think one of the very first items I made was a pillow. I should've known then! I love home decor. I love how many different techniques you can incorporate into home decor, and how many different styles you can portray.

I also love the crafting community. I have never seen so much respect and collaboration and good will before! Ever since I dipped my toe in this crafting world I've been amazed.
