My name is Debbie and I like to make things. Usually cute things. Useful, but fun things. I like the word "things."

My designs are inspired by a lot of things but I'd say the top 5 would be the 80s, music, pop culture, typography and my kids. Even though my boys are getting too big to wear most of the things I make, I just can't stop hand-embroidering and gocco-printing tiny baby shirts and hats! Yeah, I'm slightly obsessed with the cute and small, but I'm starting to branch out into things for bigger people.

I am also obsessed with personalizing items, which I think started with that cute little preppy monogrammed bermuda bag I had when I was 10. Or maybe it was the tee shirts with soft-focused kittens on the front and my name ironed on the back that everyone had in the 6th grade? I dunno, but if I can wear something that is uniquely mine, I'm all for it. Perhaps you are, too?

I'm totally open to custom designs -- if you've got an idea, hit me with it! I can stitch up words, simple pictures, that kind of thing. I think everything looks better stitched.
