Maansloep is an unused Dutch word that literally means "moon sloop." If you are unfamiliar with rarely used nautical terms, a sloop is a long thin boat. Thus, maansloep is a long, thin boat-like vessel that takes you to the moon, otherwise known in English as a lunar module or rocket ship.
