~ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Amy Keith Barney is a stained glass artist from North Carolina who spends her free time making one of kind pieces of art in her Ramseur, North Carolina Studio. All of her pieces are created and designed by hand from initial sketch to a finely polished piece of art.

Each piece of glass is hand cut, ground, wrapped with foil or lead came, soldered into place, patina applied and polished to a shine.

Amy's inspirations stem from bold graphic patterns, oraganic shapes, fabric motifs, nature, found objects and places she has traveled.

Her work can be viewed in local North Carolina galleries, Artist Alley in Southern Pines, NC and Circa Gallery in Asheboro, NC, found online for sale in her Etsy Shop and you can also keep up with Amy's lastest events, shows and new work by visiting her blog: On the Side (www.amykeith.blogspot.com)
