Kristin Dodge is an author-writer-mom-teacher-farmgirl-artist. Many of her creations are inspired by living on a small hobby farm. She is a member of the PMC Guild and adores creating new jewelry pieces with this unique medium. Silver origami, mythology, mosaics, and natural materials are her current obsessions. She's also an amateur crystal experimenter, so the "healing" or known properties of specific stones are included in the descriptions. Do they work? Some swear by it, and others scoff. But, if it's pretty and makes you feel good, then it's worth wearing.

What is the difference between "fine" or "pure" silver and sterling? For many, it's the ability to wear earrings without an allergic reaction. Fine or pure silver is just that - almost 100% silver. It's an investment. If you fall on hard times, you can pawn it to a silversmith for the current market price (and Kristin had to do that once... but that's another story).
