Welcome to Thistle Town!

Way back in the forest, up the creek a ways, if you follow the path and know where to look, you'll find the town of Thistle. Thistle Town's full of animals of all shapes and sizes - the Little Ones and Big Ones get along just fine - and everyday the population may be different.

Yoy may ask yourself how I know this - Well - I stumbled onto Thistle Town myself one day, and I liked it so much I set up my studio here. What's not to like: clean air, ocean breezes, mountain vistas, and a never ending cast of critter companions. I'd been stumbling through The City before now, making things in between The Education in Fine Art and The Jobs To Pay The Bills, and I figured it was round about time to stop stumbling. The animals got used to me pretty quickly; maybe it's because, as a Littlebear that is Claire, I fit right in.

All the animals (and anything else that winds up in this shop) are designed and sewn by me here in my little green studio.
I pride myself on the high level of craftsmanship that goes into each one of my items. Each Little One or Big One of Thistle Town is named and no two will EVER be the exact same. That's part of the fun, you see. Your one of a kind plush will arrive with a name tag listing something it likes.


I am always designing new types of critters, so please check back in often. You never know who you'll meet in Thistle Town!

Like every Town, here in Thistle there are a few Policies that you should know about:

>>>>>Shipping:
My toys are shipped via Canada Post, Small Packet Rate AIRMAIL. Insurance is included in this service. You will receive confirmation via email when your item has been shipped. Shipping within Canada is sent at Expedited Rate, which provides a tracking number.
Shipping for flat items such as books and plush is at the "Light Packet" rate, which does not include insurance or a tracking number. If you would prefer those options, please let me know, and I can give you a quote for other rates.

Thistle Town Little Ones and Big Ones love to snuggle up to save on shipping. I can fit up to 3 Little Ones in one package at the rate listed as the Primary Rate as shipping. If you are interested in purchasing more than three, the rates go up as follows:
For up to 6 Little Ones:
United States: $8.50 USD
Everywhere Else: $15.00 USD
PLEASE, contact me if you'd like to purchase more than 3 at one time, and I can send you a revised paypal invoice. Thanks!

Shipping within Canada continues to be the base rate, plus an additional amount per item that you purchase.


>>>>>Care Instructions:
Thistle Town critters are all handmade, so although I've taken care to use safety eyes and reinforce the 'limbs', pulling and yanking may cause damage. These are one of a kind creations and not meant as toys for children under the age of 12. Many Thistle Town animals love to wear vintage "clothes" that will not stand up to rough play, and are intended more for display. Please handwash or spot clean only.

I have two adorable cats. Although I try to keep them away from my sewing area, I can't guarantee that my products have never come into contact with my feline companions.
