Bio

I am an artist, writer, teacher, student and stay-at-home dad. I have been creating pottery for ten years or so, and have exhibited work in Pittsburgh and nationally. I also teach ceramics -- and occassionally other art media -- to students of all ages. In May 2006 I finished my M.A. in theology at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, with my thesis focusing on intersections between art and Christian theology. Whenever possible, I also enjoy publishing my writing on art, theology and related topics. Meanwhile, I spend my days helping make a cozy home with my wife Jessica, daughter Esme (8 months old) and pooch Sadie.
