Remy is happily married with three wonderful children, Girl 15, Boy 13 & Girl 11 and left a career in IT to become a full-time SAHM and raise her children. While this has been a wonderful and rewarding 'career' change for Remy, it is also a very frustrating and thankless job at times,... and of course comes with it's own set of problems. After dropping to one wage, things soon became unmanagable and for Remy to be able to stay at home and raise the children, she also needed to find a way to work from home and bring in a little extra income to ease things.
Apart from the financial strain of being a SAHM, Remy was also craving adult interaction that would normally be satisfied by going out to work. She was also needing something that could become a creative outlet of her own,(cooking, cleaning and helping with homework just didn't cut it),..and feels very lucky to have discovered jewellery making as a way to fill these needs.
Remy first started making jewellery in 2000 and has gone on further to writing jewellery making tutorials, so she can share what she has enjoyed over the years...an overwhelming joy, excitement and satisfaction of making your own quality jewellery,..whether just for yourself and family & friends, or for the purpose of starting your own jewellery making business from home.
As each of Remy's tutorials takes at least a solid working week(2 or 3 weeks for some), to setout, photograph and write,. this time takes away from Remy being able to make and sell her jewellery, so a small fee for these tutorials will help Remy to be able to continue writing them.
Remy's first Tutorial, Tutorial 001: Cage Pendant is available for you to try for free and if you like what you see there,.. we guarantee you will love the rest as the following tutorials are even better., so please contact StudioHeath if you would like this tutorial for free,.or check it out for yourself at www.studioheath.com/tutorials.php
If you would like to see more of Remy's creative work including watercolours, drawings, & photography, go to www.studioheath.com and wander around the galleries. You will also find an extensive jewellery gallery which can be a great resource for getting more jewellery making ideas.
