Bio

I used to have horses and work as a clerk in an emergency room, I used to raise kids and draw, I used to be a police officer and cleaned houses part time, I used to run a laundromat and lived in one of those buildings where you hear gunshots and sirens at night, I used to live in Florida, Oklahoma, Kansas City, San Diego, and now I'm in Kansas City again.

I went to college in my late 30's, and finished a BFA in 1999. Now design things + do my own art work.

Dyeing and printing go hand in hand when working with fabric. So sometimes I work with silk and burnout velvet.

I love love screen printing and use a variety of screens to print on fabric and cloth.

I love re-using materials that already exist or reusing something headed for a landfill. Right now I'm stitching, reworking and dyeing old double knit fabrics.
