I hate to perpetuate the stereotype, but let's face it, as a woman any time you ask to be treated fairly, others will think you're angry. I use the work chick, because as derogatory as liberal thinking woman are, I prefer the term. It's a more all encompassing word. Say girl, you think someone under the age of 10, you say lady, I think old, and the word woman is just too stodgy. Chick or the plural chicks or as I prefer Chix, welcomes us all. We've just opened up a new section of our store. It's called the Alice Collection. $5 from the sale of each piece in that collection goes to the Cancer Society in memory of my grandmother who died of lung cancer, even though she never smoked a day in her life.
