Jessica is a 25 year old artistic person who has found drawing a healthy creative outlet. She is completely self taught, and has enjoyed gripping a pencil for as long as she can remember

She lives in Washington state and is mommy to a perfect little 3 year old, and wife to a super sweet, caring husband.

Jessica also enjoys scrapbooking, photography, cooking, working in graphic design, and gardening. Although she admits to not being the best at either one of them.

It is her hopes that at least one person will emotionally connect with one of her pieces.

Ok, so I have been drawing away... getting ready to release my illustrations on etsy. This is something I have wanted to do for over a year... and I am finally getting up the courage to do just that.

While I have been drawing for as long as I could grip a pencil... my first passion as a little girl was drawing horses. I dreamed of owning one, and I think a part of me must have thought surrounding myself with the drawings would in some way grant my wish of owning an actual horse. While it wasn't until I turned 13, that I finally saved enough money to buy my first horse... it did in fact happen. Drawing is so magical.

I was fortunate enough to have a few of my pencil drawings feautured in our local gallery when I was 16. I remember the gallery owner instructing and advising me. She had told me that I had an Artist's license, I didnt always have to draw things as they were in real life. If I wanted to change the clouds in a way that I thought made them better in my drawing, I had a license to do so. This has always stuck with me as I draw even today. I think it is very inspiring to think outside the box, to test your creative level... I plan to continue doing so.

I want to be trusted and thought of as someone who will do just that. All my art comes from a smoke/pet free home.

Q) Can I have a piece or Art customized for me?

A) Sure, I am almost always up for customizing my work. Keep in mind though, a small fee may apply. :)


Q) Why are you no longer offering promotional custom work, like bookmarks, business cards etc. I thought you enjoyed it?

A) I do enjoy it, but lately found I was taking on more then I could handle. Custom work is very time consuming, I also HATE being paid before I complete a job... and well custom work has to work that way! It was affecting my family time, housework and my poor garden...err weed patch.
