I love the sweet, idyllic, optimistic aura surrounding the fifties but I'm also a modern gal. I'm a terrible housekeeper and tolerable hostess. If I were June Cleaver I'd look just as sweet but tell that smarmy Eddy kid to get his smart ass the hell out of my kitchen and tell Ward to fetch his own damn slippers. A little bit sugar, a little bit spice, that’s me.

Head Bitch in Charge was begun in 2005 by me, Charity Gandolfo, aspiring art historian, art student and fabric addict. HBIC Headquarters are located in Anacortes, Washington, about 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle.

If you see any errors, have some constructive criticism or just comments in general please KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. Adoration, awe and cash on the other hand, are always welcome. :)

My home is SMOKE-FREE but I do own pets and a fully stocked wet-bar.
