BIG NOTICE ---------------------------------------

As we finally get our house on the market, I am forced into a holding pattern as far as being able to work on Etsy orders. Please be patient as we work out the details of a big cross country move. I will update things once the dust settles.

I finally figured out how to get paypal to charge sales tax. Wisconsin residents, unfortunately, will have this included at checkout.

Returning customers will get 10% off.

** I include a cotton lined silver jewelry box with necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pins and barrettes.

Welcome to my shop on top of a hill. It is here that I draw my inspiration, from the subtle forms and variations in the woods that surround me. My challenge recently has been to produce earthenware decorative items that mimic as closely as possible the colors and forms that nature provides. I have been working with Earthenware clay the last couple of years, making organic decorative pieces that mimic the natural forms that surround us in the nearby woods. This means much time spent in the workshop combining glazes that, when fired, will resemble the textures and colors of nature.

To make the leaves, I start with real leaves picked usually in the spring, when they are small, and the detail is the greatest. I make a master out of clay, which is then bisqued. From there, I make latex molds, into which I can press clay and then form holes or hangers, depending on what they will be used for. When the leaves are removed and cleaned, they are left to dry. Then, they are fired (bisqued), glazed, and fired again. Everything has a mark or signature. Variations on this process are used for other items.

I am starting to introduce colors other than those inspired by nature into my ceramic jewelry. Look for those as I get them finished.

I am also offering my ceramic animal portrait plates for the first time on-line. Please take a look at the samples to see what I can do for you.

Each ceramic item is made individually by myself. They are all One Of A Kind. No two items are alike. Measurements provided are approximate for this reason.

**Returns: If you find yourself unsatisfied with the quality of my work or it is not as described you may return it within 5 days of receiving the item. Once I receive the item, your purchase cost will be refunded, minus the original shipping fee.

**Shipping: I will ship your order within two business days of receiving your payment. Please see individual items for costs. I generally ship first class or priority. If you need expedited delivery, please say so in the comments sections.
Orders over $50 will need to be insured, and I will let you know the cost when you make an order.

***I accept paypal, money orders, and checks. I prefer paypal, as it is most secure for everyone, and it expedites delivery.
