As I life long artisan, the first time that I saw a Murano bead, I knew that I had to learn to make them. From the first revolution of glass around my steel mandrel, I was hooked. There was something almost familiar and comforting about the process of melting glass.

I am now entering my third year as a creator of fine art glass beads. Expressing myself with glass as my creative conduit has been nothing less than an unexpected gift, for it is when I am at the torch that I feel most alive.

Designing finished jewelry pieces with my own lampwork beads is treat for me, as my main focus has always been in the sale of my beads to other designers and art glass bead collectors.

One of my goals for the new year is to spend more time making jewelry, and I look forward to the market opportunity that Etsy has to offer!
