Hi, and welcome to my shop! I was taught how to knit, crochet, needlepoint, & cross stitch at a very young age by my grandmother. I love to do all of them! I joined Etsy in Nov '06, but as a buyer. My husband will be joining me soon with handmade knitting needles and wooden pens.

Here are guidelines for purchasing a hat. All measurements are taken of the hat unstretched. Check your measurements to make sure you get a great fit! If you do not have a measuring tape, take a piece of ribbon or string and put it around the head where the hat will sit. Then take the string/ribbon to a measuring device and see what the head measures.
All sizing includes the roll up brim.

I can customize for preemie babies.

I take great pride in my work. If for some reason you do not like the item received, please contact me within 7 days of receipt of purchase to arrange for a return. Items must be received in the original condition in which they were shipped before refund is given. Unless the return is due to an error on my part, shipping charges will not be refunded.

I started recycling/repurposing sweaters as a cost alternative to make hats for the homeless. I have made 50 so far. It turned chilly here and my son passed out the hats. (He is the director for HOPE a ministry for the homeless) He was told by several they are the warmest hat they have ever owned. Makes me feel warm inside!
